3 words to describe you
Visual artist, volunteer, yogi
Why do you take pictures?
Through photos I recognize myself and talk about my condition
Where do you get your inspiration?
I draw inspiration from everything around me, even when I am surrounded by war in my country
Who are your influences?
My mentor and friend Sergey Melnitchenko is the founder of the conceptual and art photography studio MYPH
What determines the subject matter you choose?
The past (my ancestors), the present and my body. These are the main things that determine the topics I work with
What impact would you like your art to have?
I would like my work to encourage people to take time for themselves. To pay attention to their inner state, to explore and develop their potential. Unfortunately, in the rush of daily routines, chasing better salaries, and amidst the overwhelming flow of information, many people forget about this opportunity and get lost. Therefore, I hope that my works inspire viewers to reflect on their own lives, and through shared reflections in art, to experience different things together.
What artwork do you never get bored with?
If I were to give specific examples of what I can always watch, it would be Christopher Nolan's films, Madonna's music video Frozen, and the works of Ukrainian artists such as Maria Prymachenko, Arkhip Kuindzhi, and Sonia Delaunay. However, I always devote more time to studying and discovering new things—new artists and new, interesting styles in art.
Is there anything you want to add?
I want to tell other artists and people who read this - never be afraid and go confidently on your own path
